Honorary Consuls
If you do not live near a Consulate General, an Honorary Consul in your area may be able to help you. Honorary Consuls provide limited information and emergency assistance. They can notarize signatures on official German documents (e.g. Certificate of Life/Lebensbescheinigung). They do not issue visas and German passports. More
